Brutus: I have seen it all now. I have accomplished more than any man may have thought possible, but in all this accomplishment I have failed to make others see what I have done. I am at the center of a civil war and it has been reported that Cassius has died. I have sent Lucillius to pretend to be me to buy myself time, but I have seen what I believe to be Caesar's ghost haunting me yet again on the battlefield. Now that I sit with my few remaining comrades, I think my time has come. Just let it be know that in killing myself I act on motives twice as pure as that in which I killed Caesar and that he himself is now avenged...
Caesar's Ghost: And now I can finally be at peace...
ReplyDeleteBrutus's Ghost: You must be mad if you think I'm not making your eternity hell after you tormented me while I was alive.
DeleteCaesar's Ghost: Hey man, you killed me, remember? I think we should call it even.
DeleteBrutus's Ghost: Fine. I guess I can't be petty forever. (I mean you can literally now, because you're immortal)
